There must be 2
registered students for class to be held. If there is only 1 student registered
for class, a staff member will notify you by phone to cancel the class and you
will receive a class credit.
Body
Blast: Do you want a fun, kick butt workout that you'll enjoy
without going to the overcrowded, meat locker gyms? Do you need to
lose a pants sizes in 2 weeks. If you said yes, then this class is
for you. Body Blast is a specially designed workout that
doesn't require workout machines or weights. You'll use your own body weight,
resistance bands, medicine balls, jump rope, boxing, and the pole. It's filled
with cardio drills, calisthenics & plyometric exercises. It’s a
full body workout geared to help you burn calories, lose unwanted body
fat, tone your arms, shape your legs, tighten your butt & define
your abs. Every class is different each time you come.
Abs & Butt Blast: We're gonna blast your Abs & Ass in this powerful 30 minute targeted workout. Tone, Tighten, Engage and blast away the tummy fat and build that butt.
Cardio Blast: 30 Minutes of Pure Cardio to melt the fat away and tighten your whole
body. If you love to sweat & you want results then this is the
ultimate weight loss class for you.
Kickboxing
& Core Training: This high-intensity, high-impact style of training
can help you to burn 400-1000 calories within an hour. Incorporating multiple
disciplines of martial arts along with traditional kickboxing to bring some
uniqueness to what we provide in this technique. The class starts with
energizing music and beats from Hip hop, African drums, Dancehall, and Melodic
groove. There’s a warm-up, including stretching and flexibility
exercises followed by a kickboxing session that includes knee strikes, kicks,
locks, grapples and punches. Some equipment like punching bags or jump ropes
may be used. This class can also help to improve: metabolism, core (abs),
balance, strength, self-defense, and endurance.
FREE Intro to
Pole (1st Friday each month): This is a free class for brand new students only in which you'll learn 3-5 pole spins, dance moves & floor work. This class will be open to pole sharing if more than 9 students register. If you've taken a class with us before you cannot register for this class. If you've done a pole party with us but not a regular scheduled class, you can sign up for this class. Tell your friends about this FREE class and receive a $5 credit when they sign up for additional classes. All students will receive special discounts for signing up the same day as their FREE intro class.
Intro to
Pole: Intro to Pole is for the Brand New Student who wants to see
what the Pole Art form is all about. We educate you on the Amazing Benefits of
Pole Fitness & Injury Prevention. This class teaches the foundation to the
art: sensual movement, body strengthening, toning, increasing flexibility,
beginner pole tricks and confidence. It does not matter what your size or
fitness level, this class is for you! We make it Fun & Easy. We provide a
safe and non-judgmental environment so everyone feels comfortable in their own
skin. The instructor is very patient and walks you through everything step by
step. No one will be left behind. Students should take this class up to 4x and then should progress to our Beginner Classes.
Beginner
Pole: This class is for our Beginner students who have taken our Intro to Pole and now feel comfortable. Or you could be a students who's been taking classes elsewhere or practicing on your own.
There are over 20 pole tricks to learn at this level including dance movement,
floor work & strength training. In this class, there is no need to
feel intimated, everyone is working to improve their sexiness and pole skills
and it takes time. Please don't expect to be a master in one class, it's not
possible. But you'll be amazed at how much strength & skill you build
each week. Everyone moves at a different pace based on their
athleticism and how quickly they catch on. Students are usually ready to
move from this level in 4-8 weeks depending on how often they take classes and
practice. Our amazingly talented & patient instructors will be
right by your side if you're feeling a little nervous or shy. Get
ready to have some fun and make some New Pole Dancing Virgins Friends!
Intermediate Pole: You have all the beginner spins mastered. You're
ready for one arm spins, one leg spins & combination spins. You'll start
climbing the pole and learning some leg grip maneuvers, taking your body
sideways and lifting those feet midair.
Advanced Pole: You're ready to take on upside down aerial tricks and
multiple combination spins. Who needs hands when you can now hold to the
pole with just your legs. This class does require short shorts as you'll
need skin to hold on to the pole. This class is not for brand new students to
pole dance, new students should start with Pole Virgins or Intro to Pole.
Spinning
Pole: This class is for students that want to take on a new pole
challenge. You should have at least 3 weeks experience before
participating in this class. Pole Dancing with a Spin Pole is even more
beautiful because it allows your movements to be seen from all angles, it adds
a special twist to the artistry of pole dancing. You are also able to do tricks and combos not possible on a static pole.
All Levels Pole Dance: This class is offered in the afternoon on Tuesdays & Thursdays during the lunch hour for those that need to get away from the office. It's all levels which means the class is open to beginner thru advanced students. The instructor will be able to pretty much teach you whatever you or she wants. This is a great class for students wanting to break the regular class structure format and for those wanting to work on some new moves in a different level.
Black Swan Ballet: It's for beginners so anyone can do it. Have you always wanted the body and flexibility of a ballet dancer?
Maybe you've been curious but have felt too intimidated to try. Learn
basic technique, strengthen your muscles, walk taller and gain
flexibility at the studio you've come to love. We will cover everything
from plies and posture to fouettes and pirouettes. We will be focusing
on alignment and working every muscle in your body to get you that prima
ballerina body. Introducing everyday Ballet - it ain't just for skinny
chicks!
Suggested attire: Leggings or shorts, t-shirt, leg warmers, no shoes needed. If you have ballet shoes or foot pads (these are okay) but not mandatory.
Strip Tease & Booty Shakin: We'll start the class with some Sexy Strip Tease
techniques to arouse your lover at home and Keep'em yearning for more. Lots of floor work and sexy movement. This class will focus on how to isolate & shake what yo momma gave
you. This is when you'll celebrate all your jiggle & wiggle. This is
a fun fat burning workout that teaches you to be sensual and embrace
your femininity.
Suggested attire: Lots of layers because we're going to show you how to take it all off. Bring an oversized blouse or tshirt, ties/scarves, panties/boy shorts, leg warmers, and a pair of sexy heels. Bring all the items you'd want to learn to take off for your man. Be creative and let's have some good ol' clean & sassy fun.
Zumba: Zumba is a popular fitness program inspired by Latin dance. The word "Zumba" comes from a Colombian word that means to move fast and have fun, which is just how people describe the routine. Using upbeat Latin music together with cardiovascular exercise, Zumba is aerobic dancing that is lots of fun and easy to learn.
Attire: Comfortable workout attire, sneakers & a workout towel. Bring a water!
