How to Choose a Pole

Need help deciding which pole is best for you... We'll honestly list the pros and cons.  Lil Mynx & X-Pole are the top 2 pole brands on the market.  We don't suggest using any other pole brands as they may not be safe.  We use both pole brands in our studio and highly recommend either one.

                                        X-Pole                                       Lil Mynx

Cost:                             $309                                          Start at $255

Initial Setup Time:     15-20 minutes & DVD           5-10 minutes

Setup Involved:
Both require ladder or chair depending on height of your ceiling and stud finder.  Lil Mynx requires a drill to drill a small hole to put up your mount.  This does not serious cause damage to ceiling, it's a tiny hole just like if you were hanging a picture on the wall. If you were to remove your mount you wouldn't even notice the small hole.

Take Down/Removal:         5-10 min                         5 seconds

Portable:                     Yes                                             You can order portable

Static Or Spin:
X-Pole comes standard to do both.  Lil Mynx sales a static pole or a pole that does both.  The lil mynx rotator pole costs more.

Is Pole a solid 1 piece or does it come in pieces?   X-Pole comes in pieces.  Lil Mynx pole comes as a one piece.  The Lil Mynx portable pole comes in 2 pieces.

Ceiling Max:                 Up to 12 feet                       Up to 11 feet

Vaulted Ceilings?            No                                    Yes, requires vaulted mount

Floors:
Both poles work on carpet or hard floors.  Lil Mynx requires that you order a non-skid floor pad if it will be used on hard floors.
